Terms of Service
Last updated 8 October 2026 · applies to the free beta
Bloom Monitors is currently a free beta. Nothing is sold, no payment is taken and no card details are collected, so these terms are short. They will be replaced by a fuller set before any charge is ever made, and you will be told before that happens.
1. Who provides the service
Bloom Monitors, formerly Backdoored Monitors (“the Service”), is operated under that name by a private individual established in Italy, contactable at support@bmonitors.com. There is no company behind the Service at present and none is implied by the name, which is a trading name and not a registered entity.
If you need the operator’s full identity in order to exercise a legal right, such as a data protection request or a complaint, write to privacy@bmonitors.com and it will be given to you.
2. What the Service is
The Service monitors publicly reachable career and recruiting pages of a number of firms and posts notifications about newly published roles into a Discord server. Access to that server is granted by applying a role to your Discord account.
It is an information service. It is not careers advice, it is not a recruitment agency, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any firm whose postings it reports.
3. What it costs
Nothing. During the beta the Service is provided free of charge. No payment method is requested, no trial converts into a paid subscription, and no invoice is issued.
Pricing may be introduced in future. If it is, it will apply only to access taken out after it is announced, it will be announced in the Discord server in advance, and no charge will ever be made without you separately and actively agreeing to it.
4. Joining
You join by authorising the Service through Discord’s own OAuth screen. Doing so creates your account here and adds you to the server with the member role. There are no invite links: the website is the only way in.
You must have a Discord account in good standing and comply with Discord’s own Terms of Service. You must be old enough to hold a Discord account in your country.
5. Your place is yours alone
Access is granted to one Discord account, and one Discord account only. It is not transferable and may not be sold, lent, shared or pooled. This is enforced technically as well as contractually: a Discord account can be attached to exactly one member, and a second attempt to attach it is refused.
Keeping that account secure is your responsibility, as is anyone who can unlock the device it is signed in on. Anyone with access to your Discord account has your access here, and we cannot tell the difference. If you think it has been compromised, secure it with Discord first, then tell us.
6. Conduct in the server
Be civil. Harassment, hate speech, spam, advertising, scams and posting other people’s personal information all get you removed. So does anything unlawful.
Ordinarily you will get a warning first. Nothing obliges us to give one, and for anything serious we will not.
7. What you may do with the notifications
Use them for your own job search. Do not republish, resell or redistribute them, do not feed them into another service, and do not extract them in bulk by automated means. Do not attempt to scrape the site, work around the rate limits, or reverse-engineer how the monitoring works.
The Service tells you a role exists. Everything after that is entirely between you and the firm: your application, your dealings with them, whether you are hired. We are not a party to it, take no part in it, and have no relationship with any firm whose postings we report.
8. Accuracy, and the limits of this
Notifications are generated automatically from pages published by third parties, which we do not control. They may be delayed, duplicated, incomplete or wrong, and a posting may be withdrawn or filled before you see it. Coverage of any particular firm may change or stop without notice. Nothing here is a guarantee that you will see any given opening, or any opening at all.
9. Availability
The Service is provided as it is and as it happens to be available. It is a beta: it may be interrupted, changed substantially, or discontinued entirely, at any time and without notice. No uptime is promised.
10. Ending it
You can leave whenever you like, by leaving the Discord server. To have your data erased as well, email support@bmonitors.com. See the Privacy Notice.
We may remove your access at any time, and will normally do so only for a breach of section 5 or because the beta itself has ended.
11. Your data
What is collected, why, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted are set out in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
12. Feedback
This is a beta and suggestions are welcome. If you send one, whether a firm we should cover, a channel that should exist or something that is broken, we may act on it, build it and keep it, without owing you anything for it and without it becoming yours. Do not send us anything you consider confidential or want to keep control of.
13. Liability
The Service is free, and it is supplied without warranties of any kind so far as the law allows. Liability is not excluded or limited for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or in any other case where the law does not permit it. Nothing in these terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under Italian and EU law, which cannot be signed away.
Subject to that: the Service is not liable for a job you did not hear about, heard about late, or applied for unsuccessfully.
14. Intellectual property
The name, the site and the software behind the Service belong to its operator. The content of the notifications originates with the firms that published it.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced in the Discord server. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated version; if you do not, leave the server.
16. Law and disputes
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
